Acupuncture is often considered a hallmark in the practice of eastern medicine thanks its long history of proven efficacy. However, being stuck with needles can be a scary idea for some people, who are especially new to acupuncture as a medical remedy. Thus it’s important to note that needles used in procedures like dry needling and acupuncture are extremely thin, thinner than most syringe needles in fact. Also compared to other commensurate Western treatments, acupuncture is relatively non-invasive and easy to endure. The ancient technique of acupuncture stems from the study of Qi, otherwise known as energy or life force that flows through the body. Through creating tiny and precise punctures in the relevant points along the body, this flow is stimulated to unclog and to strengthen so as to keep the body’s immune system healthy against potential illnesses. An insertion triggers a response from the immune system, including a revitalized blood flow. For afflictions like allergies, digestive issues, acute joint pain, and migraines, a session of acupuncture can be helpful in promoting the body’s own capacity to gradually heal itself. Working with Dr. Min, patients receive personalized and individualistic solutions that address their specific needs. Also, they leave the meeting with a greater understanding and deeper appreciation of the inner workings of their body.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping Therapy

One of the benefits of Chiropractic is aiming to cure the root of body ailments rather than to just eliminate the physical symptoms of an illness. Have you ever heard about CUPPING THERAPY?
One treatment that has these wonderful healing powers is cupping. The cups are generally made out of glass or bamboo, and placed on the back, housing heat and suction inside the cup onto the skin. This process causes the skin to rise up into the cup and to provide a deep tissue massage. This method functions to promote blood circulation and flow of energy in the body that works to relieve pain and muscle discomfort. Furthermore, cupping therapy effectively drains toxins, calms inflammation, and enlivens nervous systems. If you are suffering from constant headaches and digestive disorders, cupping can be helpful in encouraging the body to recover. Dr. Min is an expert practitioner with ample knowledge in prescribing this medical application of cupping so you are in good hands.

Through years of experience, Dr. Min has gained the discerning insight to accurately diagnose which areas are causing stress so that the kinks can sufficiently be worked out. Methods like dry needling, which is different from acupuncture, and cupping therapy are others forms of ancient oriental medicine that also boast benefits of boosting blood circulation that aid muscle relaxation and recovery. Whether you're suffering is in deep tissue or in myofascial trigger/tender points, Dr. Min will employ the best solutions to heal your condition.

The quickly encroaching cold weather can have palpable effects in the way our bodies feel and function.

The chilling cold can make our muscles contract and tense up, sensitize nerve endings, stiffen up our bodies, and produce joint pain. That's why it's important to wear layers and to regularly take warm showers or baths to warm up our bodies. But depending on our age, prior injuries, and sustained bad postures, many of us require more specific attention of professional treatments.

Are you suffering with neck pain due to bad posture or an injury?

Dr. Min's chiropractic procedure might just be the cure you seek. Sessions available include massage therapy, physical therapy, cervical and spinal manipulation, and electrical muscle stimulation. These various treatments can effectively reduce the burning aches in your muscles and joints, and improve your body mobility and long term physical strength. Specific pain areas like in the neck need special expert attention because of its critical function of supporting the full weight of the head. Conditions of discomfort and irritation in and around the neck area can be common these days as a result of unhealthy habits like extended sitting and overly harsh and repetitive movements as well as accidents. Rehabilitative neck adjustment and healing work on the surrounding shoulders can relax fatigued muscles and loosen up tight knots to relieve undue agonies of headaches, constant exhaustion, and stiffness. Dr. Min and his assisting staff members have years of experience, seeing various patient conditions. They attend to patients diligently and individually to deliver the kind of remedy that holistically benefits their muscular systems.
